Endurance Cubed Coaches Kaori and Nate are both riding fast and looking sharp in the new Rudy Project Boost01! Rudy's new aero road helmet was designed with the aid of aerodynamics legend, John Cobb and is leagues ahead of the competition in it's efficiency. It has 10 vents to keep you cool on the hottest of race days (Coach Nate knows after this past weekend's Utah Half), and weighing in at only 8.4 ounces it's one of the lightest aero helmets on the market. In addition it has two interchangeable air dams for increased temperature control.
One of the best features of the new Boost01 is the flip-up visor; unlike the Wing57 visor which has a fixed retention system as part of the lens, the Boost01's visor has a separate mounting platform on which the visor hinges. This means the helmet is easier to throw in quickly in transition, reduces possibility of fogging, and eliminates the possibility of breaking an attachment tab. Added bonus of the new visor system? You'll look a bit like Robocop while you race!
Overall, the new Rudy Project Boost01 is a hit with us at Endurance Cubed! It's light, comfortable, fast, and super duper awesome looking! Highly recommended!
